In December 2022 Top 10 Advertisers in Poland ranking, the podium look excatly the same as in November ranking. Media Expert, which in December 2022 reached almost 33 million Real Users with its advertising message, was on the 1st place of the most popular advertisers on polish market for the whole 2022. Euro RTV AGD electronic stores (RU = 32,6 mln, Reach = 99,4%) and Lidl supermarket chain (RU = 32,4 mln, Reach = 98,5%) were second and third on the podium. There are some well-known players in December ranking, a few comebacks and some completely new brands in the TOP ranking. Which brands were the most popular on the Polish market?

The top 10 ranking in December 2022 based on gemius AdReal data include as many as seven trade entities – four of them are related to the supermarkets and stores - (Lidl, Biedronka, Carrefour and Kaufland), two to electronics (Euro RTV AGD and Media Expert). As always there is an online shopping platform - Allegro.pl - in the ranking. Among the most popular advertisers of December 2022 also one brand related to telecommunication can be found - T-Mobile. A new player has also appeared in the ranking - Skoda (9th place, RU = 31,6 mln, Reach = 96,3% and second, the longest ad contact time - 18,73 sec). Media Expert (1st place in the ranking) recorded the biggest number of ad contacts (10,922,663,319) and frequency (333.13). The longest ad contact time was recorded for Lidl (20,26 sec).

Advertising expenses data in the gemiusAdReal

From April 2022, the gemiusAdReal cross-media study in Poland was enriched with a new breakthrough functionality. As the first study in this country it will provide information about advertising expenses, including ad types and formats, based on data from a single-source research panel.

Information about advertising expenses are presented for all types of media covered by gemiusAdReal's research, i.e. PC and Mobile (display ads, excluding web browsers and social networks: Facebook, YouTube, Instagram), TV (video ads) and Radio (audio ads). The results are estimated based on the official price lists of publishers and the size of advertising traffic. The price lists used in the estimation are updated on an ongoing basis for each subsequent month and take into account not only the price of advertisements in a given medium, but also the type of advertising format or the duration of audio and video spots.
