Gemius in Georgia

From the start of April, Gemius will be operating in Georgia.

Initially, the company will offer the gemiusDirectEffect tool, which enables the measuring of the effectiveness of online advertising campaigns. It is also envisaged that the offer for Georgian customers will be expanded to include AdOcean technology, an ad server which allows web publishers to broadcast adverts. Gemius, the leader of internet knowledge providers in the EMEA region, has been growing rapidly into new markets.

– Gemius is already present on more than 30 markets, and expansion has always been in our “nature”. Now is the time for Georgia, where our activity is primarily a response to the needs of advertisers and numerous inquiries from the market. The Georgian advertising market is undergoing a process of change and seeing the implementation of many online solutions. Educating our customers has always been one of our most important values, which is why I am glad that Gemius will be able to play an active role in these changes. The first step is gemiusDirectEffect, which allows agencies and advertisers to measure their online advertising campaigns – explains Weronika Ośko, agency business development EMEA director at Gemius.

– BetterFly | DDB Georgia ‘port80’ is honoured to become a partner of Gemius and to integrate its unique digital media planning and analytics tool on the Georgian market. This is an innovative solution, which is the first of its kind for our local market and can truly push the boundaries of online environment development in Georgia. Observing the local market trends and insights, I strongly believe that the combination of our local market expertise and Gemius’s strong background in the field of technological solutions can bring the Georgian online media buying approach to an absolutely new level of development – explains David Jashi, CEO at DDB Georgia ‘port80’.

The entrance onto the Georgian market is accompanied by an event, organised by Gemius in collaboration with DDB Georgia’s partner, ‘port80’. The event took place on 5 April 2016 in Technopark, Tbilisi.
