What mobile devices did the Poles use to connect to the Internet in 2016?

Last year, the mobile devices which were most frequently used to visit Polish websites were Samsung phones and tablets. More than one-third of page views were made using Samsung equipment – as confirmed by the analyses performed by Gemius. However, the largest increase, by almost two and a half times, in the number of page views was recorded for Huawei devices, which in a short time caught up with brands such as LG and Sony.

Apart from Huawei, the year of 2016 also recorded an increase in the percentage of page views using other brands, namely HTC (from 4.8 per cent in January to 5.7 per cent in December) and ZTE, which made its entry to the statistics only in March (0 per cent in February and 0.6 per cent in December). The biggest losses within the period of 12 months were reported by LG (from 11.5 per cent in January to 9.5 per cent in December) and Nokia (from 8.7 per cent to 7 per cent). A slightly lower reduction in the number of page views on the Internet was recorded for Sony (from 9.2 per cent to 8 per cent) and Apple (from 21.2 per cent to 20.7 per cent). Subtle reductions between January and December were also linked to Asus (from 0.5 per cent to 0.3 per cent) and Lenovo (from 1.2 per cent to 1.1 per cent). Samsung opened and closed the year with the same result: 37.2 per cent.
