Services for young men
Interest in erotic web content is greatest among people aged 19 to 30. They constitute a total of 55 per cent of all visitors. In a breakdown of individual age categories first place goes to internet users in the 25–29 group (17 per cent of users of this service type), with the tail-enders being the youngest group, (14–19 years) with 9.8 per cent, and middle aged web users (45–49 and 50–54) at 8.4 and 6.3 per cent, respectively. Women in Romania constitute less than one-third of the audience for erotic web content (32 per cent of users).
Favourite spicy sites
The unarguable leader among erotic sites in Romania is PornHub Network, which in the study month was visited by over 1.1 million users. Second in the rankings, Xhamster.com, had less than half that level of interest (580,000 users). The next places in the rankings were occupied by Xnxx.com (575,000), Xvideos.com (518,000), Filmexxx.org (354,000), Prwidgets.com (231,000), Pornokk.com (220,000), Filmeporno-hd.ro (194,000), Filmeleporno.xxx (205,000) and Filmepornonline.net (167,000).
