In analysed period - October 1– 31, 28 169 280 Real Users searched for information in the Ukrainian media and websites. The ATS* was equal 16h 37m 6s. Ukrainians most often used smartphones (more than 25 million RU) and PC (almost 20 million RU).

The Internet in Ukraine 8 months after the Russian aggression

Among the 15 most visited websites and channels in Ukraine, Google was in the first place (ATS = 2h 42m, RU = 18,4 mln). The 15 websites most frequently viewed by Ukrainians include social media websites (facebook.com, instagram.com), as well as news,TV and weather services and internet websites. The website of the largest commercial bank in Ukraine was also frequently used - privatbank.ua (ATS = 23 min, RU = 3,8 mln) and Wikipedia (place 6, RU = 3,9 mln). In October 2022 Ukrainian Internauts visited also online shopping platforms such as olx.ua, prom.ua and rozetka.com.ua. Film platforms rezka.ag and megogo.net were also among 15 most popular websites in October.

In the case of data analysed for a specific type of media, internet news media (RU=22,7 mln; ATS=51min) and portals (RU=13 mln; ATS = 31 min) were the most searched, dominating over TV and Radio. The same as in the previously analyzed periods, the channels that enable quick finding of specific information have been used most often by Ukrainian Internet and media users.
