Gemius provides Internet analysis in real-time
As of today, it is possible to check on now.gemius.com how many internet users in Poland have visited services of a particular subject category − either from a PC, tablet or smartphone, or from all devices combined. The project allows quick and easy access to rankings of services by subject. However, most importantly, it allows real-time data to be viewed for yesterday, today, this week and last week, as well as by hourly breakdown.
‘We want to share knowledge of the internet with the market. That is our mission. The gemiusNow project is the best evidence of that,’ says Piotr Ejdys, the comapny’s CEO. ‘Fast access to data is of key significance in measuring a medium as dynamic as the internet. That’s why, since the beginning of the year, on a day-to-day basis we have been providing our clients in Poland with daily data relating to online browsing figures by particular devices, as well as total reach on PCs, smartphones and tablets combined,’ adds Ejdys.
It is possible at now.gemius.com to check the popularity of services in ten subject categories, including business, e-commerce, motoring, new technologies, work and sport.
The now.gemius.com project is not the only recent Gemius success story. In March, the company launched market analysis of video advertising in Poland and Ukraine. In May, it won a tender for internet study in Czech, as well as winning the IAB Europe Research Award for best study project in Europe. The prize was awarded for its methodology, which allows daily internet data to be published on a day-by-day basis.
