Gemius certified for data security

In February, Gemius’ data security management systems were certified as compliant with ISO 27001:2013. This means that information from all markets on which Gemius analyses network traffic are processed in accordance with the international standard for security of information. The certificate has a validity of three years.[nbsp]

The certificate was awarded to Gemius headquarters, where data from over 30 countries in which the company does campaign measurement and adserving. The audit was conducted by an accredited independent certification company.

‘Certification of compliance with ISO 27001:2013 is a confirmation to clients and business partners that data security is a priority for Gemius, and that our operations meet the highest global standards. Certification binds us to the regular implementation of the latest data protection procedures,’ says Piotr Ejdys, CEO of Gemius.

ISO 27001:2013 is the international standard developed for information security management. It determines 14 areas which are subject to external inspection. These include development and maintenance of IT systems, access control, system and network management, security policy and human resources security. The norm also relates to company policy planning and mode of operation, but also implementation, monitoring and improvement.
