Gemius: Insights into Estonia's most visited websites in September and October 2025

International technology and research company Gemius has published its latest data on the most visited websites from computers in Estonia during September and October 2025. The data highlights the continued strength of global platforms, notable shifts among Estonia’s news portals, and active competition between ecommerce sites like Temu and Kaup24. It also reflects notable audience growth for multiple sites, and includes an overview of visits from all platforms together.

Leaders become stronger

Gemius data shows that Estonia’s most-visited websites from computers experienced some fluctuations in September and October. Google maintained its position as the most popular site, dropping slightly in September (696 000 Real Users) but rising again in October to 735 000 Real Users. Facebook.com experienced growth in both months, reaching 529 000 users in September and 545 000 in October, while youtube.com remained stable in September but gained over 21 000 users in October, reaching 497 000 Real Users.

Changes among news sites

Delfi.ee experienced a slight decline in September (395 000 Real Users) but gained 18 000 users a month later, finishing October with 413 000 users from computers, while postimees.ee saw one of the biggest increases across all sites – from 334 000 users in September to 365 000 in October, but õhtuleht.ee ended September with 145 000 Real Users, and left the top completely in October.

Wikipedia rises, Microsoft declines

Wikipedia.org continued to grow both months, gaining 33 000 users overall and reaching 302 000 users in October. Meanwhile, microsoft.com increased by 34 000 users in September (276 000 Real Users), followed by the steepest decline among the TOP 20 sites in October, losing over 39 000 users and ending the month with 237 000 Real Users from computers.

E-commerce platforms shift again

The competition among online retailers remained tight. Temu.com experienced the biggest increase in September – by 37 000 users (195 000 Real Users), while kaup24.ee had the second largest percentage increase, reaching by 26 000 more users (172 000 Real Users), however, October followed with a drop for both sites – the audience for temu.com decreased to 187 000 users but for kaup24.ee – to 165 000 users from computers.

What else has happened?

Without already mentioned, lhv.ee and terviseportaal.ee also experienced notable growth in October. Lhv.ee grew from 176 000 users in September to 195 000 in October, while for terviseportaal.ee this shift was from 138 000 to 151 000 users over the same period.

In September, the top was left by reddit.com, telia.ee and booking.ee, while inforegister.ee (152 000 Real Users), bing.com (144 000 Real Users) and tallinn.ee (134 000 Real Users) joined, however, in October õhtuleht.ee and tallinn.ee fell out of the top, and were replaced by telia.ee (142 000 Real Users) and reddit.com (138 000 Real Users).

Visits from all platforms together

The combined statistics from both PC and mobile platforms show that in September the news portal delfi.ee attracted 702 000 Real Users, and this number grew to 707 000 in October, while õhtuleht.ee remained stable, reaching 377 000 users in both months. The email service mail.ee decreased from 117 000 users in September to 113 000 users in October, but the business oriented site rup.ee grew from 19 000 to 28 000 Real Users over the same period.
